My Old Home

I know it doesn't look like anything spectacular, but this was a very crucial and memorable part of my life for a few years. It's one of the many identical work stations at my old high school. PLC was my home away from home and my teachers were (and are still!) my parents away from my parent. I miss it there terribly!

Cracks and Silhouettes

I took this of the road just beside the curb, where some fern-like plants towered over me. I like the mixture of textures this shot produced.

Dragonfly

This little guy was one of my most cooperative models ever! :) I was really surprised that he let me get so close to him, but then again I had to move very, very slowly...
Cropped and increased contrast.

Compare and Contrast

Which do you like better? I decided to show a simple before and after shot of an edited photo.

Here is the original black and white, with a slight contrast adjustment:

Congested Area

This is another photo taken while I was in a moving car. I particularly like it due to the area actually looking congested while the sign points out that the road ahead is the area congested. (Jeez, that word makes my nose feel funny. O_o)
Increased contrast, decreased brightness, and isolated sign text to darken it.
